Chainfire3D is an intermediary OpenGL driver. What does that mean? It means that Chainfire3D sits between your apps and the graphics drivers, and can intercept and/or change commands between the two. It has some built-in functions, and can be further extended with plugins to provide extra functionality.

Features include reducing texture size and quality to reduce memory use and potentially increase game performance, as well as increasing memory use potentially increase performance.

If you also install the (experimental) EGL driver, AND your GPU supports it, AND you have the Pro version, you can enable 4xMSAA or 16xMSAA on a per-app bases. This can drastically improve image quality!

Many users are running Chainfire3D on devices not listed here - it's likely to work on all modern devices. So far nobody has reported a failed install, so that's good. Doesn't mean problems can't happen.

!! There is some risk involved installing the driver. Your device may not boot. If you have CWM, it would be prudent to create a backup before installing !!

Root Galaxy Ace

How to Root :
1.Copy the file Root.zip on your sd card
2.Shut down your phone
3.Press Home+Volume down+Power button
4.Go to install zip from sd card
5.Select file Root.zip Download Link
6.Press ok and than Yes
7.Reboot your phone and Finish

We have already covered couple of posts on Samsung Galaxy ACE. One was Galaxy Ace unbiased review and the other one much awaited 2.3.3 Gingerbread for Ace. But now its time to upgrade your Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 to Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread. This update definitely bring some of visual and battery improvement. You can download latest firmware on your Samsung Ace S5830 using the procedure below. Read on for details.


How to Install S5830XXKPO Android 2.3.5 on Samsung ACE S5830

Prerequisite:

Samsung USB Drivers for S5830 Download link
S5830XWKTM_S5830OXXKT3_FOP.zip | 135.4 MB   Download link
Odin flashing software & OPS File for S5830  Download link
Charge your phone battery up to a good level
Take complete backup of all your mobile data
Now follow these steps carefully or refer the attached video -

Phase 1- setting up PC and backup

Install the Samsung USB drivers
Unzip the main firmware file and you will see these files1. S5830XXKPO_S5830XXKPO_S5830SERKPO_HOME.tar.md5, SS_DL.dll
Take Backup of your contacts messages and other data from your phone. Please note that this procedure doesn`t format your internal memory, only messages, contacts and apps will be erased.
Shut down Samsung Kies completely
Run Odin 4.38 which you have already installed
Power off your Samsung ACE and wait till complete switch off
Phase 2 - Upgrading the firmware
Hold Volume down key + Home button key and press power on to goto download mode
Connect your phone with USB cable
You should get the message “Added! !” under the Odin’s message box
Put the files like this in Odin:
OPS = Cooper_v1.0.ops,
Check the one package on the left side of ODIN
Select S5830XXKPO_S5830XXKPO_S5830SERKPO_HOME.tar.md5 in One package
Hit the start button and process will begin, Wait until your phone gets restart and then unplug the cable
You will have S5830XXKPO Android 2.3.5 on your ACE :)

New Myth ACE ICS ROM

Finally Myth is back and its better than ever.If you had tried the first Myth ACE ICS rom you would know why this rom became so famous. Well it was one of the first few roms which gave Galaxy Ace users the taste of ICS. It showed how great ICS looks & feels . How to Install:
Follow below steps to install the New Myth rom
Take proper backup of your phone and charge the battery top a good level (preferably 100% to avoid battery calibration issue)
Restart your phone in CWM mode using Home and power button
Wipe data/Factory reset >> yes
Wipe Cache partition >> Yes
Advanced >> Wipe delvik Cache >> Yes
Now in main menu go to Install ZIP from SD card and go to the location of the file & click ok install. Wait till installation is complete and reboot system.
Enjoy your Ace with ICS look

Note : After installing the Rom if you have any touch screen issues do not worry there is a easy fix.

Clock Work Mod Galaxy Ace Fix

  Clock Work Mod Ace is a recovery to install custom rooms in android devices

How to install CWM ClockworkMod on Galaxy Ace S5830
Copy recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip on SDcard
Completely switch off the phone
Reboot by pressing Home+Power button and then release only the power button
Now goto apply update from sdcard >> then select the recovery-clockwork-5.0.2.6-galaxyace-fix.zip
That`s it... After the process completed reboot your phone.

Now you will have ClockWorkMod(CWM) on your phone. Next time when you Reboot by pressing Home+Power button your phone will go to ClockWorkMod(CWM).
